NANOCON 2020—12th International Conference on Nanomaterials—Research & Application

An opportunity to become acquainted with the results of research and development of nanomaterials in the Czech Republic and abroad as well as with concrete applications and to meet the world's leading scientists working on nanotechnology have participants of the International conference NANOCON'20.

Highly ranked keynote and invited speakers already confirmed their attendance. Plenary lecture will be given by Prof. Dr. Dieter Bimberg (Technical University of Berlin, Germany) a pioneer in bringing together theoretical and experimental insight to the electronic structure, the fundamentals of growth and the optical properties of quantum dots and QD based devices. Confirmed speakers include also: Prof. Dr. Andreas Greiner (Bayreuth University, Germany), Prof. Dr. Flemming R. Cassee (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, Netherlands), Dr. Martin Švec (Institute of Physics of the CAS, Czech Republic) and others.

Nanomaterials - preparation, properties, characterization. Applications of nanotechnologies in industry, environment, medicine and biotechnology. The influence of nanomaterials to environment, health; metrology and standardization of nanomaterials. The topic nanomaterials for electronics will be accentuated on the NANOCON 2020 conference. The conference will be opened by the plenary session with the appearance of significant speakers focused on research and applications of nanomaterials. Conference abstracts will be accepted into five theme sessions:

Session A – Nanomaterials for Electronic, Magnetic and Optic Applications. Carbon Nanostructures, Quantum Dots,
Session B - Industrial & Environmental Applications of Nanomaterials,
Session C - Bionanotechnology, Nanomaterials in Medicine,
Session D - Monitoring and Toxicity of Nanomaterials,
Session E - Advanced Methods of Preparation and Characterization of Nanomaterials,

Poster Session A - E.

NANOCON is a popular conference among novice researchers. The prize of Dr. Tasilo Prnka, the conference founder and the promoter of nanotechnology in the Czech Republic, for the best lecture of young scientists under the age of thirty three years will be awarded.

As part of the poster session the Best Poster Contest will be announced. The first three winners and five honorable mentions will be awarded.

The proceedings are sent for indexing in the database Web of Science (Clarivate) and Scopus (Elsevier).
