Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Evaluation Committee, I am pleased to announce the winners of the 2019 Atoms Travel Awards:
Alexander Bray, a Ph.D. student from Australian National University, will attend the conference “31st International Conference on Photonic, Electronic, and Atomic Collisions (XXXI ICPEAC)”, 23–30 July 2019, in Deauville, France, to present his paper “Time-Resolved Theory of Atomic and Molecular Photoionization for RABBITT and Attoclock”.
Bhuvanesh Sundar, a post-doctoral fellow from Rice University, will attend the conference “50th Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics APS Meeting”, 27–31 May 2019, in Milwaukee, USA, to present his paper “Fair Sampling of Weighted Solutions in Quantum Annealing”.
We thank all applicants for their participation in this inaugural competition, and we appreciate the recommendations from senior researchers. We congratulate the winners and look forward to hearing their presentations.

Atoms provides an advanced forum for studies related to atomic physics, including all of their subfields. Different formats, such as specialized research articles, reviews, communications, and technical notes, are welcome. Manuscripts containing original and creative research proposals and ideas are especially appreciated.
We encourage scientists to publish their research results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the paper length, and full experimental and methodological details, as applicable, should be provided. All papers will be peer reviewed promptly. On behalf of the distinguished members of the editorial board, I extend my welcome to all researchers working on these subjects to contribute to Atoms.
