Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
It is well-known that climate change is one of the most important environmental problems the developing countries are currently facing. These countries have developed policies and implemented measures in response to the impacts of climate change. The issues of climate change have also received largest attention of researchers resulting in numerous publications to date. The purpose of this Special Issue titled “Climate Mitigation and Adaptation Measures in Developing Countries” is to review the recent developments and progress in understanding in this area of knowledge. We are calling for manuscripts in the following thematic areas for consideration. We are also happy to consider manuscripts in the general area of climate change.
a) Livelihood vulnerability and climate change.
b) Climate change effects and perceptions.
c) Examples of successful individual and community adaptation measures.
d) Mainstreaming climate change mitigation and adaptation.
e) Role of government and non-governmental organizations (GOs and NGOs).
