
Agriculture Receives an Increased CiteScore of 6.3
We are pleased to inform you that Agriculture (ISSN: 2077-0472) has received an increased CiteScore of 6.3.
CiteScore provides transparent metrics that enable well-informed publishing strategy, library collection development, and the benchmarking of journal performance. It is now a standard citation metric alongside SNIP and SJR that gives an up-to-date view of a journal’s impact.
The current CiteScores measure the average number of citations within a journal over a four-year window (2021–2024). The Scopus database provides a comprehensive suite of metrics that support informed publishing strategies, research evaluation, and enable benchmarking of journal performance.

Agriculure’s CiteScore ranks as follows:
- Q1 (86 out of 534) in the “Plant Science” category;
- Q1 (72 out of 414) in the “Agronomy and Crop Science” category;
