Does open access lead to a loss of quality?
Open access does not result in a lack of quality. Open access publishers basically have the same quality controls as non-open access publishers, from editorial processes (such as pre-check, peer review, revision, editor decision) to production processes (layout, English editing, figure editing).
MDPI Books pays close attention to the quality of its published manuscripts, we value our contributors’ efforts in publishing their research and findings, and we aim to add quality contributions to the academic discourses of any discipline.
