Who is responsible for obtaining rights of any third-party material?
It is absolutely essential that authors obtain permission to reproduce any work that does not fall into the public domain, or for which they do not hold the copyright. Authors are responsible for obtaining the rights for third-party material. If agreed in the contract, the responsible assistant editor may be able to assist you with administrative tasks.
