Ulrich Hampicke
Biography
Ulrich Hampicke received a doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences from the Technical University of the former West Berlin in 1976. From 1981 to 1996, he was a professor of environmental and resource economics at the University of Kassel, Germany. From 1996 until his retirement in 2009, he was a professor of landscape economics at the University of Greifswald, Germany. His fields of research include the economics of nature conservation and sustainability, climate change and intergenerational ethics.
