Georgi Kotov is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the Technical University of Sofia, where his research focuses on the detection of AI-generated face images, with an emphasis on adversarial robustness and explainability. He received his master's degree in computer science from the Technical University of Sofia in 2022. Since then, he has served as a Teaching Assistant in web development at the same institution, contributing to the design and delivery of coursework covering both foundational and full-stack web technologies. Alongside his academic work, he holds the position of IT Director at Digital and Software Solutions (DSS), a technology company based in Bulgaria, where he leads engineering teams and contributes to the development of AI-powered identity verification systems, bridging his research interests in digital identity and biometric security with practical, industry-facing applications.
