Dr Hadita binti Sapari is a Public Health Specialist currently affiliated with the Environmental Health Research Centre, Institute for Medical Research, National Institutes of Health, Malaysia. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Malaya and completed her Master of Public Health and Doctor of Public Health at Universiti Teknologi MARA. She has extensive clinical and public health experience, having served as a Medical Officer at Hospital Serdang and later at the Hulu Langat District Health Office, where she was actively involved in epidemiological surveillance, outbreak investigation, and malaria control. She completed her gazettement as a Public Health Specialist at the Rembau District Health Office, where she led family health programmes and contributed to outbreak response, disaster risk management, and multisectoral public health initiatives. She is involved in national technical working groups, including the Malaysian Respiratory Pathogen Surveillance Protocol, the National Environmental Health Action Plan (NEHAP), the Malaysian National Adaptation Plan (MyNAP), and the National Planetary Health Action Plan (NPHAP), and contributes to the development of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) indicator 3.9.1 for Malaysia. Her research focuses on the health impacts of climate-related exposures. Her work integrates epidemiological methods with public health practice to support evidence-based policy and health system strengthening.

Dr Mohamad Ikhsan Selamat began his medical career as a House Officer at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan, Pahang (1994–1995), and subsequently served as a Medical Officer at the same institution. He later completed clinical rotations in paediatrics and orthopaedics at Hospital Kuala Terengganu before being appointed as a Medical and Health Officer in charge of Klinik Kesihatan Pasir Akar, Besut, Terengganu, where he served for approximately three years. He pursued a Master of Public Health at Universiti Sains Malaysia, with a sub-specialisation in Environmental Health, during which he was attached to the Besut District Health Office and several health clinics. Upon graduating in 2002, he joined the Ministry of Health Malaysia as an Assistant Director in the Environmental Health Unit and was subsequently promoted to Principal Assistant Director in 2005, heading the Dengue Control Unit under the Disease Control Division until 2008. In 2008, he joined Universiti Teknologi MARA, reflecting his strong commitment to academic development, teaching, and the advancement of public health knowledge, particularly in the field of environmental health.
Dr Mohamad Rodi Isa is an Associate Professor at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, with expertise in biostatistics, clinical epidemiology, non-communicable diseases, and quantitative research. His work focuses on the application of advanced statistical methods in health research, including the development of prognostic models integrating statistical and artificial intelligence–driven approaches. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), Master of Public Health (MPH), and Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from the University of Malaya, as well as a Diploma in Applied Parasitology and Entomology from SEAMEO-TROPMED. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and four academic books and has supervised more than 45 postgraduate students. Dr Mohamad Rodi Isa is an active contributor to academic and professional development, serving as a speaker at research methodology and biostatistics workshops and as an invited speaker at international conferences. He is also an editorial board member and reviewer for local and international journals and has been appointed an Honorary Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, United Kingdom.
