Filippo Cammaroto is an Associate Professor of Mathematical Analysis at the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, Physical Sciences and Earth Sciences of the University of Messina, Italy, occupying this role since 2000. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1998 with a dissertation on a complement to Ekeland’s variational principle and its applications. His academic career has been entirely devoted to Mathematical Analysis, first as a Researcher and subsequently as an Associate Professor at the University of Messina. His research interests include variational principles, nonlinear analysis, functional analysis, variational inequalities, operator inclusions, and partial differential equations. He has taught numerous undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses in Mathematical Analysis and has supervised several Ph.D. and Master’s theses. He is the author of research articles in the areas of nonlinear analysis and variational methods and has participated in national research projects and doctoral programs in Mathematics.
