Durga Sri Sharan Katabathula received his Master of Science in systems engineering for manufacturing from the Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg in 2025 and is now investigating AI applications in model-based engineering workflows. In 2025, he moved to the German Aerospace Center for electrified aeroengines. His research topics mainly include model-based system engineering (MBSE), model-based safety assessments (MBSA), systems engineering, safety engineering, aircraft system development, aircraft system certification, artificial intelligence (AI), and large language models (LLMs).
