Author Biographies

Diana Lucía Campa Guevara earned a BS in Chemical Engineering in 2012 and a PhD in Engineering Sciences from Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Madero in 2021. She is currently a Lecturer at the Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Madero. Her research focuses on the synthesis, physicochemical characterization, and computational study of ionic liquids and biomass-derived materials. She has authored five scientific publications and has participated in conferences and academic activities, both national and international. Her research interests include ionic liquids, biomass valorization, spectroscopic characterization, computational chemistry, and electrochemistry.

Erick Orlando Merinos Herrera obtuvo una licenciatura en Ingeniería Industrial en 2011 y su doctorado en educación en la universidad del golfo en el 2022. Actualmente es profesor en el Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Madero. Su investigación se centra en análisis de áreas críticas e identificación de oportunidades de mejora, optimización de datos para mejorar procesos, administración del talento humano. Sus intereses de investigación más amplios incluyen el análisis de datos para optimizar procesos, la inteligencia artificial en la educación superior.
Fausto Antonio Balderas Jaramillo received his B.S. degree in Computer Systems Engineering in 2009 and earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Instituto Tecnológico de Tijuana in 2018. He is currently a Full-time Professor and Head of the Systems and Computing Department at the Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Madero. He is a Level 1 member of the Mexican National System of Researchers (SNII) within Area I: Physics, Mathematics, and Earth Sciences. His research focuses on the application of computational intelligence, mathematical modeling, and data optimization to solve complex problems in materials chemistry and exact sciences. His broader research interests include artificial intelligence, the integration of STEAM educational models in engineering, and the development of intelligent systems for optimizing chemical processes.
