Rahaf Yousef received her MSc in Regional and Urban Planning from Damascus University in 2019 and is currently completing her PhD in Landscape Architecture at the Institute of Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning and Garden Art, Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), Budapest (defense expected 2026). She worked as an assistant tutor at the Institute of Regional Planning, Damascus University (2016–2021). Her research focuses on people–place relationships, Middle Eastern cities, socio-spatial inequalities, and green space planning.
