Author Biographies

Qiang Gao received his Bachelor's Degree in Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation from Baoji University of Arts and Sciences in 2014, his Master's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2017, his Ph.D. Degree in Agricultural Electrification and Automation from Northwest A&F University in 2022, and is now not pursuing any degree. He worked as Lecturer and Director of the Smart Agriculture Doctoral Service Group at Xi'an University, School of Information Engineering (2023–2024). In 2024, he moved to Xi'an University, School of Information Engineering and was promoted to Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor and Deputy Director of Shaanxi Provincial Joint Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence in 2024. His research topics mainly include: smart agriculture, computing power network, artificial intelligence, IoT monitoring and control technology, crop pest identification.
Yu Ji received her Bachelor's Degree in Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation from Baoji University of Arts and Sciences in 2014, her Master's Degree in Internet of Things Engineering from Lanzhou University of Technology in 2017, and is now not pursuing any degree. She worked as Research Assistant at Shaanxi Normal University (2017–2024). In 2024, she moved to Xijing University and was promoted to Lecturer in 2024. Her research topics mainly include: Internet of Things engineering, crop pest monitoring, machine vision application in agriculture.

Meili Wang received her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Application from Northwest A&F University, College of Information Engineering in 2005, her Master's Degree in Computer Application from Northwest A&F University, College of Information Engineering in 2008, her Ph.D. Degree from the National Centre for Computer Animation, Bournemouth University in the UK in 2011, and is now not pursuing any degree. She worked as Lecturer at Northwest A&F University, College of Information Engineering (2012–2014), and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwest A&F University (2014–2017). In 2015, she moved to Northwest A&F University, College of Information Engineering and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015, then to Professor in 2021. She also worked as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Edinburgh in the UK (2018–2019). Her research topics mainly include: computer graphics, computer vision, smart agriculture, computer image processing, geometry-based modeling, virtual reality.
