Wang Jiuli received his Ph.D. in Botany from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018 and has since been a faculty member at Qinghai Minzu University, where he is currently an Associate Professor. He has over ten years of field scientific expedition experience on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau. In 2019, he was selected for the Qinghai Province "High-Level Innovative Talent Thousand People Plan." He also serves as a Qinghai Science and Technology Commissioner and as a member of the rural revitalization village task force. In 2023, he acted as a Technical Consultant at Qinghai KadiGou Valley Breeding Professional Cooperative. His research topics mainly include molecular ecology and plant diversity in the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau.
