Prof. Dr. Sumin Kim is affiliated with the Department of Environmental Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, Environmental Horticulture, Dankook University in Cheonan, Republic of Korea. She is the Guest Editor of the Special Issues “Building Integrated Photovoltaics: Present and Future”, “Simulation Modelling and Analysis of a Renewable Energy System”, “Simulation Modelling and Analysis of a Renewable Energy System, Volume II”, and “Innovative Crop Model Development and Applications in Agro-Meteorology” in MDPI. Her research interests mainly focus on renewable energy; energy crop; agrophotovoltaic system; and simulation. Her scientific output includes 38 publications in various
journals with an h-index of 9 (Scopus, February 2024).
Prof. Dr. Sojung Kim is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Dongguk University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. He obtained his Ph.D. in Systems and Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, USA, and his Master of Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Dongguk University-Seoul, Seoul, Republic of Korea. From 2008 to 2010, he was a Research Assistant at the Dongguk University-Seoul. Then, he went to the University of Arizona and became a Research Assistant, and then he was a Full-Time Adjunct Lecturer. In 2016, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Texas A&M University-Commerce. His research interests include Digital Twin; Renewable Energy System Modeling and Implementation; Smart Farming Systems and Operations; Artificial Intelligence/Human Behavior and
Decision-Making Processes; Modeling and Analysis of Complex Socio-Cyber-Physical Systems; Multi-Paradigm Modeling and Simulation; and Stochastic Process Modeling/Operations Research.
