Sofia Barragan Vazquez del Mercado earned, from the Complutense University of Madrid, a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (2014), from the National Institute of Public Health a Master's Degree in Nutritional Sciences (2017) and a PhD in Epidemiology (2024). She is now a Research Fellow of the School of Food Science and Nutrition of the University Leeds. Her current work explores the influence of early childhood diet on growth and dental health in young children.
