Silva Kulappuwa Wadu Kimesha Irangika received her Master's in Environmental Sciences from the University of Tsukuba in 2022 and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies. She worked as an Assistant Director (Planning) at the Ministry of Plantation Industries, Sri Lanka (2013–2019). In 2019, she was promoted to Deputy Director (Planning).
