Dr. Shakta Mani Satyam is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology at RAK College of Medical Sciences, RAK Medical and Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU), Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. He serves as the Director/In-Charge of the Translational Medical Research Facility and the Central Animal Research Facility at RAKMHSU, as well as the Chairman of the Animal Ethics Committee.
Dr. Satyam has an extensive research portfolio, with 79 publications in high-quality indexed journals and 23 research paper presentations at national and international scientific conferences. His outstanding contributions to academia and research have earned him multiple prestigious awards. With a strong track record in securing research funding, he has received over one million in extramural research grants, enabling cutting-edge studies in pharmacology and translational medicine. His work focuses on advancing preclinical and translational research, particularly in drug discovery, cancer, pain and metabolic disorders.
