Author Biographies

Paul Mansell is a Lecturer of Sport and Exercise Psychology in the School of Health, Education, Policing and Sciences at the University of Staffordshire. He completed his undergraduate studies in Sport, Physical Education and Community Studies at the University of Birmingham. After obtaining Qualified Teacher Status in 2007, he has gone on to teach in secondary, further education, and higher education. He received his MSc in Applied Sports and Exercise Psychology in 2018 from the University of Staffordshire. In 2023, he completed his doctoral studies in stress in sport at the University of Birmingham. He is the Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is interested in researching how psychological interventions can enhance performance under pressure.
