Sebastian-Alexandru Drăgușin is a Teaching Assistant at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, where he coordinates laboratories, projects, and seminars in electronics and electrical/computer engineering, covering topics such as electronic and telecom measurements, power electronics (static converters and industrial electronics), control/actuation structures, system modeling and processing, and numerical equipment. In parallel, he works as a Software Engineer at DRÄXLMAIER Group in the automotive domain, contributing to engineering-oriented software development in a professional industrial environment. His research interests focus on embedded and IoT cybersecurity, anomaly and intrusion detection, and signal-processing-driven machine learning methods for attack detection and robustness in resource-constrained systems. Nicu Bizon (IEEE M’06; SM’16) is a Professor at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, Pitești University Centre, Romania. Born in 1961 in Albești de Muscel (Argeș County), he received a B.S. in Electronic Engineering (1986) and a Ph.D. in Automatic Systems and Control (1996) from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. He has professional experience in hardware design at Dacia Renault S.A. and has received two awards from the Romanian Academy (2013 and 2016). He is editor of 19 books and author of more than 700 scientific papers in energy-related fields. His research interests include power electronic converters, fuel cells and electric vehicles, renewable energy, energy storage systems, microgrids, and the control and optimization of these systems.
