Dr. Laura Pompei, born in Rome in 1992, Graduated in Architecture in 2017 with 110/110 cum laude from Sapienza, University of Rome, Faculty of Architecture. Dr. Laura Pompei obtained a PhD in Energy and Environment in February 2021 at Sapienza, University of Rome. During the doctorate, various topics related to energy and the environment were addressed, such as lighting, the energy efficiency of buildings, the development of issues related to Smart Cities, and the protection and enhancement of cultural heritage. Many of these activities were carried out in collaboration with research bodies (ENEA) and other national and international universities. Since February 2021 Dr. Laura Pompei has been a research fellow at the DIAEE, Sapienza University of Rome. Dr. Laura Pompei has been a co-tutor of many bachelor's and master's theses at the DIAEE. Dr. Laura Pompei’s research topics mainly include Smart Cities, Energy Efficiency, sustainability in buildings, Energy Communities, lighting, LCA, BIM, bem, interoperability, energy district, and green building.
