Gokulnath Chidambaram is a Technical Director at Mavim India, Bengaluru, India, and a PhD research scholar at M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru. He received his Master’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University, Chennai, and his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy. He has over three decades of professional experience in industry, having held senior technical and architectural roles at organizations including Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, General Electric, Halliburton, HP, Philips, and Honeywell. His professional work spans industrial IoT platforms, edge and cloud architectures, data integration, distributed systems, and AI-driven solutions for real-time and safety-critical environments. His current research focuses on the Social Internet of Things (SIoT), trust-aware service selection, graph-based trust modeling, and performance-aware collaboration mechanisms for industrial computer-vision workloads in heterogeneous IoT and edge-computing environments.
