Seung-Yeong Song received his Ph.D. in Eng. from the Seoul National University in 1998. He is a professor in the Department of Architectural & Urban Systems Engineering at Ewha Womans University, Seoul, South Korea. He also serves as Dean of the College of Engineering. He served as the president of the Korean Institute of Architectural Sustainable Environment and Building Systems and is scheduled to serve as the president of the Korea Green Building Council. His research topics mainly include: Building energy, Building envelope and smart windows, Thermal insulation, Thermal bridge, Heat transfer simulation.
