Dr. Feifei Zhu is an associate research fellow at the Shenyang Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of Resources and Environment, China Agricultural University, a joint doctoral degree from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (Japan), and a doctoral degree from the South China Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is dedicated to the study of carbon and nitrogen cycles in forest and farmland ecosystems, using controlled field experiments and stable isotope techniques (15N, 13C) to study individual plant nitrogen uptake and the nitrogen balance of ecosystems. She has presided over and participated in many national, provincial, and municipal scientific research projects. She has published more than 30 scientific research papers.
