Siyka Dimitrova Demirova studied at Technical University of Varna, Bulgaria. She obtained a BS degree in "Management in International Business" in 2005 from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and a PhD in "Production organization and management (industry)" in 2011. She was an Associate Professor in 2016, and has been a Professor since 2022. Since 2020, she has been Head of Department of "Industrial Management" at the Technical University. Her interests in the field has resulted in a number of publications, presentations, lectures, and courses on innovations (book), economics, creativity and methods for generating new ideas (book), knowledge management, entrepreneurship (book), and logistics management (book). She is a member of the Scientific and Technical Union of Bulgaria, the Association of Economics Teachers, and is part of organizing committees for conferences with international participation. From 2017, she has also been the Chair of the student club "Entrepreneurship and Innovation" at the Department of Industrial Management. She has also led four projects and been a participant in eight. Her research interests include SME organization and management, creativity, logistics, and team management, among others.
