Dr. Aykan Celik is a cardiologist currently working as a consultant cardiologist at Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital, Turkey. He completed his medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine and his cardiology residency at Izmir Katip Çelebi University Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. His clinical and research interests focus on interventional cardiology, acute coronary syndromes, bleeding risk stratification, cardiorenal interactions, and prognostic biomarkers in cardiovascular disease, including patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement. Dr. Celik has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in SCI-E-indexed journals and has actively contributed to national and international cardiology congresses. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, and the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions.
