Dr. Panteleimon Bakirtzoglou earned a BSc in Physical Education and Sport Science from the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Sports and Physical Education (1994) and a second BSc in Public Administration from the Hellenic Open University – School of Social Sciences (2023). He holds two Master’s degrees: an MSc in Sport Science from the University of Belgrade (1999) and an MSc in Adult Education from the Hellenic Open University (2015). He received his PhD in Sport Science from the University of Novi Sad – Faculty of Sport Science (2009). Dr. Bakirtzoglou currently serves as a Lecturer at the School of Physical Education and Sport Science, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has authored or co-authored more than 35 scientific publications and actively participates in academic teaching, research, and European project evaluation. His research interests include sports sciences, basketball coaching, sport development, sport policy, governance, and educational innovation in sport.
