My name is Andrea Moscato, and I am a Medical Doctor who has been registered with the Medical Association of Caltanissetta since July 31, 2024. I am currently a resident in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine at the University of Catania, where I graduated in 2024 with honors in Medicine and Surgery. Throughout my academic training and early professional experience, I have been involved in several research projects focused on environmental health, emerging contaminants, and applied epidemiology. I have gained experience in preparing abstracts for national and international conferences and in contributing to scientific publications. I am the first author of the review “Trifluoroacetic Acid: A Narrative Review on Physico-Chemical Properties, Exposure Pathways, and Toxicological Concerns”, published in Environments, which represents my first official contribution to the journal. My current research interests include microplastics, air pollution, and gender-related differences in public health, with a particular focus on environmental determinants of health and preventive strategies.
Fiore Maria received her Level of Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2001, Specialization in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine 2005, PHD in 2009 at the University of Catania (Italy). She worked as Associate Professor at Department of "GF Ingrassia" at the University of Catania (Italy). Her research topics mainly include Environmental Hygiene, habits, and lifestyle.
