Prof. Achraf El Kasmi received his PhD degree in
materials science and chemical engineering in July 2016, jointly from Bielefeld
University (Germany) & Abdelmalek Essaadi University (Morocco). At the end
of 2016, he received a CAS-PIFI postdoctoral fellowship and joined the Chinese
Academy of Sciences in Beijing (China). In 2019, he became project leader and led
several national and international research projects financed by CAS, NSFC,
etc. Actually, he is a professor in an engineering school of Al-Hoceima,
University of Abdelmalek Essaadi (Morocco). His current research interests
include: design of nano-sized low-cost materials; Valorization of waste
materials into value-added products; CO2 capture and conversion; H2 storage
& conversion; Photocatalysis/thermocatalysis; Sustainable treatment
technologies.
