Author Biographies

Javier Gamboa-Cruzado obtained his professional degree in Systems Engineering and his PhD in Systems Engineering. He is currently a Full Professor at the Faculty of Systems Engineering and Informatics (FISI) of the Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal, with more than 25 years of research experience in computer science, data science, and intelligent systems. He is an RENACYT Level I researcher, with more than 70 papers published in prestigious international journals and conferences, as well as six books. He has served on technical committees of numerous international conferences and has been a reviewer for several journals. His current research areas include machine learning, business intelligence, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), big data, natural language processing, and generative artificial intelligence.
Victor Pineda-Delacruz is a graduate of the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal. He currently works in the telecommunications security sector, where he is responsible for data security and participates in projects focused on the transmission and security of large volumes of data. His research interests include big data, machine learning, Python programming, artificial intelligence, and business process management, with applications in sectors such as mining, education, telecommunications, and the financial industry.
Humberto Salcedo-Mera is a graduate of the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering of Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal. He currently works in a corporate logistics company, where he develops strategic applications and participates in projects focused on big data and corporate data security, through the use of emerging technologies. His research interests include big data, natural language processing, machine learning, software development, and mobile applications, with applications in sectors such as transportation, banking, logistics, and mining.
Dr. Cristina Alzamora Rivero is the Rector of Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal (UNFV), Lima, Peru. She is a licensed Industrial Engineer with a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Production from UNFV. Additionally, she has completed specialization studies in Systems and University Teaching. With a distinguished academic and professional trajectory, Dr. Alzamora Rivero has significantly contributed to the development of engineering and higher education in Peru. Her work focuses on production management, systems engineering, and industrial process optimization, fostering innovation and the integration of emerging technologies. As Rector, she leads strategic initiatives to strengthen research, industry engagement, and continuous quality improvement in education. Her commitment to academic excellence and institutional management has been instrumental in advancing UNFV’s academic and research objectives.
Dr. José Coveñas Lalupú works at the Faculty of Systems Engineering at the Federico Villarreal National University in Lima, Peru. He holds a PhD in Engineering and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Operations and Productivity Management. He has published several articles in international journals and conferences. His research focuses on social responsibility, the environment and sustainable development, renewable energy, occupational health and safety, machine learning, natural language processing, and business intelligence. He has extensive experience in university teaching, both at the undergraduate and graduate level, at various universities in Lima and the provinces. He has written books on AI and published scientific articles in prestigious indexed journals. He is an RENACYT researcher.
Manuel Narro Andrade holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Systems and Computer Engineering. He currently serves as a full-time faculty member at the Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal, Lima, Peru, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in software architecture, database systems, and network design. He has also served as a research advisor, thesis ommittee member, and developer of institutional academic projects. His professional experience spans information systems engineering, data management, and IT administration in government services. Additionally, he holds Cisco certifications in Cybersecurity and IoT and actively participates as a volunteer brigadier in humanitarian and disaster response programs organized by the Ministry of Health (MINSA) and INDECI. His research interests include software engineering, cybersecurity, IoT, and digital transformation in education and public administration.
