Peter Charlton received his MEng in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford in 2010 and his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from King's College London in 2017. He worked at King's College London from 2010 to 2020, and as British Heart Foundation Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge from 2020 to 2025. In 2025, he moved to Nokia Bell Labs as a Senior Research Scientist. His research topics include biomedical signal processing, photoplethysmography, wearables, and mobile health.
