Konstantinos Tsioufis is a Professor of
Cardiology at 1st Cardiology Clinic, University of Athens, Hippocration
Hospital, Athens, Greece. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Athens
in 1999. He was a Consultant Cardiologist as Chief of the Outpatient
Hypertensive Clinic, at Hippokration Hospital, University of Athens from 2001
to 2007, and a Lecturer of Cardiology as Chief of the Hypertension Unit at Hippokration
Hospital, University of Athens from 2007 to 2010. He is the President-Elect of
the Hellenic Society of Cardiology, a fellow of the ESC (FESC), a fellow of the
American College of Cardiology (FACC), a member of the ESC Working Group on
Hypertension & the Heart (WG20), a member of the European Society of
Hypertension.
