In 2020, Jiang Yao was admitted to the School of Resources and Civil Engineering at Northeastern University to pursue a doctoral degree in Mining Engineering, under the guidance of Academician Shao Anlin and Professor Qiu Jingping. His main research direction focuses on the study of key technologies in digital mining, smart mining, and digital twin mining.
