Lukas Steffen (Male) received his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from HTWK Leipzig (Germany) in 2022, with a specialization in building construction and construction materials. Since 2022, he has been working at HTWK Leipzig at the Institute of Concrete Construction, Research Group Sustainable Building. His expertise focuses on building physics, structural analysis, and constructive design, with a particular emphasis on sustainable and ultra-lightweight structures—especially carbon-reinforced concrete (carbon concrete) construction. Ismael Viejo Monge (Male) holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (2001-2006) and a Master of Advanced Studies in Computational Mechanics (2008-2010), both at University of Zaragoza (Spain). In October 2008, he joined as permanent staff of the Material & Components team of ITA, in which he has participated in numerous national and international projects related to numerical methods, such as Finite Element Method (FEM) and Finite Volume Method (CFD). In addition to these topics, he has worked on activities focused on data analysis, reduction order model (ROM) and development of ad hoc applications for reducing the complexity and improving the understanding of complex problems.
