Dr. Shu Qin Wei is a Research Scientist specializing in reproductive epidemiology, holding an MD and a PhD in obstetrics and gynecology, followed by postdoctoral training in epidemiology at the Université de Montréal. Her research focuses on
fertility, assisted reproductive technology, reproductive medicine, and long-term maternal and child health outcomes. She has produced more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and scientific presentations, with work appearing in leading journals such as CMAJ, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Fertility and Sterility, Human Reproduction, AJOG, and BJOG, and has contributed to multiple
CIHR-funded research initiatives. Dr. Shu Qin Wei has received several distinctions, including the FRQS Junior Scholar Award, the CIHR Fellowship, and the Young Investigator Award. She actively engaged in reproductive and perinatal research and is committed to advancing evidence-based care for women and children.
