Chen Meng received her Bachelor of Architecture (2022) and Master of Architecture degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Tianjin University. Her primary research interests include industry energy conservation, multi-objective optimization of industrial buildings, and the evaluation of indoor light and thermal comfort. During her studies, she participated in several research projects, including the renewal models of historic districts in Harbin and the history of Harbin's Chinese Eastern Railway. Her practical experience includes projects such as the transformation of the Chinese Baroque historical block in Harbin's Daowai District (Sep. 2022–Mar. 2023) and the West Xincheng Middle School project design in Wenzhou (Nov. 2022–Mar. 2023). Ms. Chen has received several awards for her outstanding design work. Key honors include (as team leader) the 5th Prize in the UIA 2023 "Next Generation of Stroke Rehabilitation Centres" student competition, the Third Prize in the 7th National Higher Education Wood Structure Design Competition, and The Excellence Award at the International Capstone Design Fair 2021.

Lin Feng graduated from Tianjin University with a bachelor's, master's and doctorate. She is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Architecture, Tianjin University. She is a visiting scholar at TU Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, a visiting researcher at UKNA, an expert in Tianjin Science and Technology Expert Database, a member of the Urban Renewal Professional Committee of Tianjin Urban Planning Society and an expert in think tanks. Facing the major social needs such as the protection of architectural heritage and the shaping of craftsman spirit in the process of urbanization in our country, the micro-architectural perspective of "material-construction" is introduced to re-examine the research and protection of our country's modern architectural heritage and the shaping of urban style. She has presided over the completion of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Tianjin Science and Technology Plan Project, and the Tianjin Construction System Soft Project Research, and participated in the completion of the National Key R&D Program Project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Tianjin Social Science Planning Project, the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission Social Science Major Project, the Science and Technology Award of Tianjin Steel Structure Society, etc.
