Dr. Michael Perch is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Copenhagen and Program Director of the National Danish Lung Transplant program at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital, Copenhagen, Denmark. He obtained his MD from the University of Copenhagen in 1999. Dr. Perch’s clinical expertise and research interests include lung transplantation, interventional pulmonology, and respiratory care. Additionally, he is a standing committee member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of PERSIMUNE (Centre of Excellence for Personalized Medicine of Infectious Complications in Immune Deficiency) and board member of MATCH (Management of post-Transplant Infections in Collaborating Hospitals), both at Rigshospitalet.
