Adrian Stancu is a full professor in the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economic Sciences, Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti, Romania. He completed his PhD studies at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Sciences, Romania, and his postdoctoral studies at the Romanian Academy. He has published over 90 papers in journals and conference proceedings, 4 books, and 12 book chapters. He is an associate editor and reviewer of 15 international journals (Routledge, MDPI, IEEE, and IGI Global). He has received five awards, including the MDPI 2024 Top 1000 Reviewer Award and the Best Researcher award in 2024. His interests include food and non-food science, product quality and forgery, renewable resources, consumer behavior, and the application of artificial intelligence and IoT in economics.
