Dr. Javier
Araujo Morera received his Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering from
Simón Bolívar University (Venezuela), a High Specialization Master’s Degree in
Plastics and Rubber from Menéndez Pelayo International University (Spain), and
a PhD in Rubber Science and Technology from the Institute of Polymer Science
and Technology (ICTP-CSIC, Spain). In 2023, he joined the Elastomer Technology
and Engineering (ETE) group at the University of Twente (The Netherlands) as a
postdoctoral researcher and Manager of the Elastomer Competence Centre (ECC) within
the same group. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the ETE group at the
University of Twente, where his research focuses on the development
of sustainable rubber compounds and recycling strategies to address
industrial and environmental challenges.
