Nelsi-Carmina Turturica, DDS, PhD(c), is a Specialist in General Dentistry and a doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Dentistry, “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She also serves as a member of the University Council for Doctoral Studies (CSUD) and practices clinically at the Platinum Dental Center, Cluj-Napoca. Her professional and scientific activity centers on preventive and restorative dentistry, periodontal health, and the implementation of laser-assisted and digital technologies in contemporary clinical practice. Dr. Turturica has participated in numerous national and international congresses and has completed advanced postgraduate training in prosthodontics and oral implantology. Her doctoral research explores the interrelation between pain perception, psychoemotional responses, and technological innovation in ultrasonic instrumentation. She is committed to advancing interdisciplinary clinical research at the interface between dentistry, behavioral sciences, and biomedical technology, with the overarching aim of improving patient-centered therapeutic outcomes.
