Hongfei Wang serves as the Director of the
Payload Operation and Management Center for the Manned Spaceflight Engineering
Space Station Mission, Chief Designer of the Space Application System, and
Researcher, as well as a member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association
of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Beijing
Normal University in 2003, followed by a Master's degree in 2006 and a Ph.D. in
2012 from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research
focuses on intelligent planning technologies for complex aerospace missions. As
a member of the space station operation demonstration team under China’s manned
space program, he has contributed to the entire process of operation management
demonstrations and the overall technical scheme design for the national space
station. He has also participated in the operation management and ground system
development of more than ten missions, including Shenzhou VII through Shenzhou
XX, Tiangong-1, Tiangong-2, and the space station program. His achievements
include a Second-Class Military Science and Technology Progress Award, five
national invention patents, 14 software copyrights, five national and manned
spaceflight military standards, and the publication of over 50 high-level
academic papers.
