Ellen MacEachen is a professor and director at the University of Waterloo's School of Public Health Sciences. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Concordia University, a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Sciences from Queen's University, and a Ph.D. in Public Health Sciences from the University of Toronto. Her research examines the design and performance of work and health systems, identifying ways in which they can be improved and adapted to the rapidly changing economic, social and technological environments of the global economy.
