Santanu Saha is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Tsukuba, advancing the physics of electrokinetic transport and aggregation in soft and semi-soft colloids. His work unites theory, simulation, and experiment across electrophoresis, diffusiophoresis, nanobubble mediated interactions, and polymer adsorption at liquid–solid interfaces. He earned a PhD in Bioresources Engineering from the University of Tsukuba, following an MSc and a BSc in Mathematics from Visva Bharati University. Before his current role he served as a Junior Research Fellow at the National Institute of Technology Patna and as a graduate researcher at Tsukuba, contributing to projects on charged soft matter and complex fluids. Dr. Saha has been supported by competitive programs including the MEXT scholarship and JSPS KAKENHI grants. He collaborates widely and mentors students, creating clear models and practical tools that reveal how charge, permeability, and slip govern transport at the nanoscale.
