Yun Liu is an associate professor at the College of Artificial Intelligence at Southwest University (SWU). He earned his
Ph.D. in computer science and technology from Sichuan University's College of Computer Science in 2019. From 2024 to 2025, he was supported by the China Scholarship Council and working with Prof. Weisi Lin as a postdoctoral research fellow with the College of Computing and Data Science, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research focuses on digital image processing, computer vision, and deep learning. He has published over 40 academic papers in
leading journals and at major conferences, including IEEE TCSVT, IEEE TMM, IEEE TITS, AAAI, ACM MM, ICCV,
and ECCV. He is also a reviewer for renowned international journals such as IEEE TIP, IEEE TMM, IEEE TCSVT, IEEE TII, IEEE TETCI, and IEEE SPL, as well as leading international conferences, including CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, AAAI, ACM MM, ICASSP, and ACCV.
