Inês Lamela is a Portuguese educator, pianist and researcher at INET-md (Institute of Ethnomusicology - Centre for Studies in Music and Dance). She completed her PhD in 2017, one of the firsts in Community Music in Portugal. Since then, her research activity has been divided between music in prison settings and education. She has been the Pedagogical Director of the Escola de Artes da Bairrada since 2022.
Paulo Maria Rodrigues is a composer, performing musician and educator. After a PhD in Applied Genetics he resumed earlier music studies and studied opera and composition. He co-founded Companhia de Música Teatral and coordinated the Education Service at Casa da Música, Porto. His work explores the boundaries of artistic languages and involves aspects of research, art-making and social intervention. He is a Professor at DeCA, University of Aveiro.
