Author Biographies

PhD in Psychology (branch of education), specializing in the design and implementation of academic programs and social impact projects. She has over 15 years’ experience in academic management in higher education as Vice-Chancellor for Design and Academic Management, Director of Academic Management, and Director of the Orientation Department. She is currently a lecturer, researcher, and academic director of the Higher Diploma in Labour Competencies. The highlights in her professional career include 21 years of accumulated experience teaching at various levels and educational centers. She has been involved in funding research projects and is an active member of multidisciplinary research teams exploring best teaching practices, focusing on diversity.
Degree in Pedagogy (specializing in Therapeutic Pedagogy), Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude, and Master's in Educational Intervention for students with intellectual disabilities. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Sciences. She has worked in special education schools as a support teacher. Subsequently, she has been part of the Psychopedagogical Intervention Team in a third-sector entity for people with intellectual disabilities, carrying out evaluations and subsequent individualized interventions in various areas. At the moment, she is working in the University Program in Socio-Labor Skills of the Camilo José Cela University, whose objective is the personal and professional development of people with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and/or autism. At the same time, she participates in several research groups whose purpose is the improvement of educational practice with attention to diversity.
