Author Biographies

Murat Ali Karavelioğlu received his PhD in Classical Turkish Literature from the Marmara University in 2005. He worked as a faculty member at İstanbul University (1996-2016), In 2025, he moved to Iğdır University and was promoted to Professor in 2019. His research topics mainly include classical Turkish literature, sufi studies, language studies, text editing, Ottoman-era literary genres, and cultural literary studies.
İsmail Abalı received his doctorate in Turkish Folklore from the Ege University in 2015. He worked as a faculty member as Assist. Ph. Dr. (2017–2025). In 2025, he moved to Iğdır University and was promoted to Assoc. Ph Dr. Hisresearch topics mainly include folklore, Turkish folklore, Turkish literature, gallows humor, and religious research.
Abdulhakim Tuğluk received his doctorate in Modern Turkish Literature from the Dicle University in 2016. He worked as a faculty member at Dicle University as Research Assist. (2010–2018). He worked as a faculty member at Iğdır University. (2018–2015) In 2025, he moved to Iğdır University and was promoted to Assoc. Ph Dr. His research topics mainly include the Tanzimat era, modern Turkish literature, irony, Turkish novels, contemporary literature, and religious Turkish poems.
