Author Biographies

Zhou Wenhao​​ received his BS degree from Wuhan University of Technology in 2022, and is now pursuing his PhD degree at the Shenyang Institute of Automation, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests primarily focus on underwater object detection, aiming to develop robust and efficient algorithms for challenging aquatic environments.
Prof. Zeng Junbao​​ earned his BS degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2006 and a PhD degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018. He is now the Deputy Director of the Underwater Intelligent Unmanned Equipment Laboratory at the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published numerous papers in various journals and serves as a leader for major national research projects. His work in underwater robotics control has been recognized with awards including the First Prize in Marine Technology from the National Oceanic Administration. His research interests include underwater robot control.
Prof. Shuo Li​​ is the Deputy Director and a Doctoral Supervisor at the Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He completed his Ph.D. in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems at SIA, CAS, in 2011. He recently led the National 863 Project - Autonomous & Remote Underwater Vehicles for Arctic Sea Ice (Arctic ARV). He has published numerous papers in various journals and serves as a leader for major national research projects. His research interests include multi-underwater robot systems, overall design of underwater robots, and intelligent perception and control. ​​Prof. Li​​ has been awarded the First Prize for National Science and Technology, the Special Award, and the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Zhang Yuexing​​ received his bachelor's degree in Automation from Dalian Maritime University in 2016 and his Ph.D. in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2024. He is currently an assistant researcher at the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research topics mainly include intelligent control of AUVs, multi-underwater intelligent systems, random finite sets, and target tracking.
