Peng Dai received the M.S. degree in electrical power transmission and automation and the Ph.D. degree in electrical power transmission and automation from China University of Mining and Technology, in 1998 and 2004, respectively.
He is currently a professor with the School of Electrical Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology. He has published over 40 papers as the first author or corresponding author and holds more than ten patents. He is responsible for a sub-project under the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program) and has participated as a key researcher in four projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, as well as over 70 commissioned research projects from enterprises. His main current research interests include topologies and control of high-power power electronic converters and high-performance AC drive control.
Zheng Gong received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering and automation and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, China, in 2012 and 2017, respectively.
During September 2015 and 2016, he was with the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark, as a joint Ph.D. student. Since 2017, he has been with China University of Mining and Technology, where he is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Electrical Engineering. His research interests include the advanced topology and control for the high-power converters, motor drives, renewable power generations, and high-voltage dc power transmissions.
